Annual Leave 2021 - Please apply NOW

Dear ALL,

please be reminded that you need to apply for your annual leave of 2021 before the end of December as per company policy, which includes one long vacation of minimum 22 days. Any exception must be approved by the management before applying your leave in the system.

Due to the Pandemic and certain workload, some of you were not able to take all their annual leave of 2020. Hence, please start planning for your annual leave with your team managers and members in order to avoid any overlapping, rejections or unauthorized accrual. 

ALERT Blocked Sinks

Dear All,

Please note that there was a major sink blockage in the kitchen. In order to avoid reoccurrence, please make sure to empty the food on your dishes into the trash bin thoroughly before rinsing them in the sink, as the kitchen sink has been repeatedly blocked by food and oil.

Likewise in the ladies bathroom, please make sure that no hair is flushed into the sink as this causes blockage too.

Time Attendance ALERT

Dear ALL,

Please note that from this month upon checking all Time Attendance records, relevant action as per company policy (see attached document) shall be reinforced as there are an unacceptable number of late-in records.

Although we are only two weeks into the current payroll month, unfortunately there are a large number of staff who have either almost reached or are already above their monthly limit.

It must also be pointed out at this point that there are in fact other staff members who show great professionalism in handling their time attendance, which is noted and highly appreciated.

Please be reminded that you need to inform your manager and HR/Admin of any unavoidable late attendance, early out or extra break (please note that the daily traffic is not a genuine reason to be late repeatedly). If there is no documented record/excuse of your irregular time attendance swipe by either WhatApp or email, automatic action shall be taken.

HEALTH ALERT

Dear ALL,

it has been noticed that a number of staff are using the kitchen in small groups despite the health instruction of allowing not more than 2 people to enter at the same time. Please remember that you must follow all Coronavirus safety instructions for everyone's health benefit. Anyone ignoring this rule shall be warned in writing.

We are counting on your cooperation and support in order to avoid a similar situation we are unfortunately witnessing currently in Western countries, simply because people became lenient and careless. Hence, never forget, you also have to wear your face mask at all times in the proximity of others and keep appropriate physical distance.

Corona cases still on the rise!

Dear ALL,

as cases of Corona infections are on the rise locally and globally, please do not become careless or forgetful regarding health and safety measures! Always remember to follow the guidelines:

To prevent the spread of COVID-19:

  1. Clean your hands often. Use soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub.
  2. Maintain a safe distance from your colleagues, especially anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
  3. Wear a mask to cover your nose and mouth.
  4. Follow the physical distancing rules in common areas.
  5. Do not shake hands or touch others.
  6. Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth.
  7. Cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  8. Stay home if you feel unwell.

Keep Your Desk Clean

Dear All,

I hope all of you are doing well,

I have faith in all of you to do everything with perfection and professionalism. In view of this, I believe that we need to make more effort to keep the office clean and organized. During a visit to the office on a weekend, we saw that desks were piled up with documents. Even though the office is cleaned every day, it can still seem messy at times.

However, please make sure your desks are not overly cluttered, and keep your papers in your drawers.

Corona Virus Hygiene Reminder

Dear ALL,

Please be reminded to make sure that you must adhere to the highest hygiene standards in all office spaces:

  • DO NOT remove your Face Mask in the presence of others.
  • Wash your hands frequently, especially after touching different surfaces or objects.
  • Keep all public spaces very clean and dry.
  • Dispose of paper towels, tissues or toilet paper inside the provided waste bins and do not throw them into the recycling boxes, also avoid waste/overuse causing overflow and littering.
  • Encourage and remind others to follow the guidelines in case anyone forgets or doesn't comply.

please be informed that in order to avoid confusion and any information gap when you need to leave the office early or on a break for a private appointment, it is very important to inform (1) first your direct manager and upon the manager's approval (2) inform HR & Admin.

New Concept Showroom Takes Off with OPTIMUM Engine

M/s. Aldaaysi Sons, one of the leading food products companies in Bahrain, is opening shortly a showroom at Salmabad with a unique concept.

Leading Real Estate Co. signs up for OPTIMUM ERP

Al Hamala Real Estate Company, a leading real estate company in Bahrain has signed up for OPTIMUM Real Estate Management ERP system to manage their operations. A deal was signed between the company and Mr. Hani Awachi, CEO, Al Amthal Group to this effect.

Al-Amthal Digital payroll solution launched by BFC Payments

A new fintech product has been developed by Al Amthal Group for BFC Payments, enabling employers to pay wages digitally to their workers who are unable to create bank accounts.

Called BFC Pay, the digital payroll solution enables employers to securely upload wages onto payroll cards or mobile wallets through an online portal or at any BFC Bahrain branch and designated cash deposit machines (CDMs).

For companies, BFC Pay will help improve efficiencies and cut down operational time and expenses, while unbanked employees will get easier access to their wages and be able to easily withdraw funds.

Al-Amthal also developed a mobile app for BFC Payments that enables cardholders to view their statements, check their account balance as well as transfer and receive payment from other BFC Payments app users.

The launch was commemorated at Bahrain Fintech Bay (BFB) on 30th September 2019 in the presence of Anthony Langley, general manager of BFC Payments; Hany Al Deeb, regional country manager for Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Iraq at UPI; Khalid Saad, chief executive of BFB; Ali Arab, general manager of GPS; Hani Awachi, chief executive of Amthal Group; Rahul Bhalla, chief executive of Invita and Gopakumar Bhargavan, head of business development and operations, BFC Group.

Bahrain BTECH Award for OPTIMUM Trading Management
